2. Prepare good feed

As far as possible, quail feed should be made of food with less fiber and rich nutrition, and the varieties should be diversified. It is necessary to maintain a certain amount of protein, with good palatability, and can not be changed at will to prevent food loss and affect yield.

The general feed formula is: corn 50%, bean cake 8%, rapeseed cake 3.7%, wheat bran 29%, fish meal 6%, coarse bran 1.5%, bone meal 1.5%, salt 0.3%, and some compound vitamins, antibiotics and Trace elements and so on.

Three, daily management

①Sweep the cage frequently, remove the feces (remove the feces once a day, at least once every two days), prevent dampness and pollution, brush the tanks frequently, and keep them dry and hygienic.

② 0 to 4 days of age often show the wildness of fleeing. Be careful when feeding and feeding to prevent the feed from being splashed by the food and prevent the fluff from being wetted by the drinking water.

③The quail can be caged after 40 days of rearing to adapt to the cage environment during egg laying. In summer, it must be well ventilated to prevent heatstroke and cool down; in winter, a stove must be built to keep the temperature above 16℃.

④ There should be sufficient light during the laying period, and supplementary light for about 4 hours after dark. Female quails usually lay eggs at 2 to 4 pm and end at 6 pm. Pick up eggs at all times to prevent them from being trampled or broken.

⑤ To be diligent in checking and adjusting the indoor temperature, humidity, ventilation, and lighting, and to prevent various stresses, pecking addiction, rodent damage, animal damage and gas poisoning.

⑥Weigh the body weight and check the growth of feathers regularly, and make various records and statistical reports.
