The technical requirements for brooding of high-quality free-range native chickens are the same as those of fast-large broilers. Grazing usually starts at 30 days in summer, 45 days in spring and autumn, and 5060 days in cold winter. It is better to choose bamboo gardens, orchards, tea gardens, mulberry gardens and other places with high dryness, shelter from wind and sun, quiet environment, convenient drinking water, pollution-free, and no animal harm as the place for chicken placement. The chickens can not only eat the pests and weeds in the "Four Gardens", but can also fertilize the chickens out of their shells in the "Four Gardens". A sand pit can be set up in the pasture for the chicken sand bath. It is also necessary to build thatched sheds or plastic sheds that are sheltered from rain, shade and cold. The grazing density of broiler chickens coming out early and returning late is 5,070/mu, and each group size is about 500. In order to prevent the chickens from getting lost or endangering the nearby farms and pastures, fences can be set up and kept until they are sold. Intensified grazing can increase the firmness of chickens, promote a healthy body and close and bright feathers. It can also eat grass, grass seeds, dead leaves, insects and flies to save feed and improve meat quality. If conditions permit, you can put a batch of chickens in another place, which is beneficial to disease prevention and the chickens foraging.
