Broilers have the characteristics of short feeding cycle and fast growth, and the key to raising broilers is feeding management and environmental control. So how to control the temperature and humidity during broiler breeding? What is the appropriate breeding density? In the following section, we will talk about the temperature, humidity and density control standards in the process of broiler breeding.
1. The temperature index of the nursery from 1 day old to 3 days old was 33 ℃~35 ℃, and then decreased week by week. At the age of 6 weeks, the temperature dropped to 18 ℃~21 ℃ or was consistent with the outdoor temperature; If the temperature is low at night, keep the temperature in the house consistent with that in the day. Suitable temperature for growth stage: 1 week old, 35 ~ 33 ℃, 2 weeks old, 30 ~ 28 ℃, 3 weeks old, 28 ~ 26 ℃, 4 weeks old, 26 ~ 24 ℃, 5 weeks old, 24 ~ 21 ℃, 6 weeks old, 21 ~ 18 ℃
2. Although the relative humidity is not as strict as the temperature, it may cause great harm to the chicks in extreme cases or in combination with other factors. 0-7 days old, relative humidity 65%~70%; 60% ~ 65% at the age of 8 ~ 10 days; 55%~60% at the age of 15 days to 28 days; After 28 days of age, it was stable at about 55%. In our province, it is generally high humidity weather. If the humidity is too low occasionally, you can spray water properly to increase the air humidity. The influence of humidity on breeding production: 1. If the humidity is too high, it will create conditions for the reproduction of bacteria and eggs, making chickens vulnerable to aspergillosis and coccidiosis. 2. The dry environment with high temperature and insufficient humidity is very easy to cause dehydration of chickens, shrunken feet, and increased water consumption, affecting normal digestion and absorption. 3. Excessive humidity is unfavorable to the heat dissipation of chickens in summer. In winter, it can increase the conduction and heat dissipation of chickens, and the development of pathogenic microorganisms and parasites are easy to cause epidemics. 4. The humidity is too low, the chicken shed is too dry, and the dust in the shed is flying, which can cause respiratory diseases and colibacillosis in chickens. 5. If the humidity is too low, especially in autumn, respiratory diseases are particularly easy to occur. If the humidity is too low, gout can be caused during brooding.
3. Density The feeding density in the brooding period depends mainly on the age of the week and the feeding method. Cage breeding: the density is 30 to 50 animals/m2 at the age of 1 day to 3 weeks, and 15 to 25 animals/m2 at the age of 4 to 6 weeks. Flat cultivation: the density of 1 day old to 3 weeks old is 20~35/m2, and 4 week old to 6 week old is 10~20/m2. 4. Moistureproof measures 1. When building the chicken house, choose a good location and try to be in a high dry place. 2. The chicken house shall be built with heat preservation and moisture resistance, and the built chicken house shall not be used until it is fully dry. 3. In the process of feeding and management, water shall be reduced as much as possible, and excrement shall be cleaned in time to keep the house well ventilated. The above is the control range of temperature, humidity and density during broiler breeding. In a word, suitable temperature, humidity and density are conducive to the growth of broilers.
