1. Requirements for incubators
(1) Active temperature control and uniform temperature. Generally, the temperature control accuracy is required to be ±0.2oC, and the temperature difference at each point in the machine is not more than 0.4°C.
(2) The ventilation is fair. During the incubation period, each embryo should have a ventilation volume of 0.002~0.010m3/h, and during the hatching period, there should be a ventilation volume of 0.004~0.015m3/h, so that the air inside the machine is novel, CO2 The content does not exceed 0.5%.
(3) Turn the eggs regularly, the angle must be sufficient, and the action must be stable. Generally, the eggs are turned once every 1.0~2.5h. The turning angle is ±45o. When the egg tray is turned to the maximum angle, neither the egg nor the egg tray can fall off. .
(4) Actively control humidity, with proper humidity. Generally, the relative humidity during the hatching period is 53%~57%, and during the hatching period it is 65%~70%, and the error should not exceed 3%.
2. Application and protection of incubator
(1) The incubator should be installed on the concrete floor, and the ground should be kept flat. The incubator should be slightly tilted forward (some models backward) during installation to facilitate the discharge of sewage during cleaning. Leave 2 to 3 meters in front of the door. space.
(2) The temperature of the incubator should be kept at 20~27℃. When the temperature is higher than 27℃ or lower than 20℃, consider installing air-conditioning equipment or adopt other measures. The humidity should be kept at about 50%. There should be good ventilation
conditions indoors, and the exhaust gas from the incubator (especially the hatcher) should be piped to the outdoors. The hatching room should be cleaned, washed, painted and disinfected frequently. Turning eggs at an angle of 80° is the key to improving hatchability. When hatching, you can turn the eggs once every 8 to 12 hours, and stop turning the eggs after moving into the hatching tray 3 days before hatching.
The lung function of the embryos in the late incubation period has been formed and sufficient oxygen is required. Therefore, there must be a certain space between the cover and the breeding eggs and the frequency of ventilation should be increased.
(3) After the whole machine is installed, power on and test the machine, check whether the temperature and humidity control system is normal, and adjust the temperature according to the request. Also check whether the over-temperature and low-temperature alarm systems are faulty, whether the active and timing egg turning system is normal, etc., wait for 1 to 2 days after the operation, everything is normal before the formal incubation.
(4) Pay attention to the temperature instigated by the thermometer on the door during application. If there is any abnormality, check the temperature control system in time to eliminate the fault.
(5) As the embryo age increases, the intake and exhaust ports should be opened appropriately, and they should be opened in the later stage to ensure the normal development of the embryo, but should not be opened too large in the early stage to avoid slow heating and waste Electrical energy.
(6) Pay attention to whether the egg turning angle meets the requirements and whether the timing is accurate. It is best to make all incubators turn the eggs in the same direction to facilitate management. Make a record every time you turn the egg.
(7) Be careful not to cut off the water in the water tank (pan) of the humidity control device. The gauze of the sensing element and the water tank must be changed frequently. After the gauze is contaminated by dirt, it must be washed and reinstalled. For incubators without active humidity control devices, it is necessary to regularly add warm water to the water tray and adjust the number of water trays according to the humidity requirements of different incubation periods to ensure the humidity requirements of embryo development.
(8) After each batch of hatching or hatching, the incubator or hatcher must be thoroughly flushed and disinfected once. Then check whether the mechanical parts are loose or jammed, check the lubricating oil in the reducer, and remove dust, fluff and other dirt on the electrical equipment. Power on and run for a period of time, adjust the temperature and humidity, and then incubate the next batch
