Disinfection methods for chicken farms

The purpose of disinfection is to prevent and control the occurrence, spread and spread of infectious diseases. Only by formulating a complete set of strict disinfection measures in chicken farms can they effectively eliminate pathogens spreading on the environment, chicken surfaces and tools, and cut off the route of infection.
1. After chicken house disinfection, after the chicken is sold or transferred, the chicken manure and litter should be thoroughly cleaned and rinsed, and the sink, chicken trough and other utensils should be cleaned. The walls are detoxified with lime water. Half a month before entering the chicken, spray with 10% Kreolin solution, or use formalin plus potassium permanganate for airtight fumigation for 24 hours, and then open doors and windows for ventilation for one week.
2. Poultry farm disinfection: Poultry farm disinfection is conducive to controlling the source of infection, cutting off the route of infection and improving the environment. Set up a disinfection tank in front of the chicken farm to contain disinfectant. Disinfect incoming vehicles and personnel, clean the chicken farm once a day, and spray the chicken farm with 3% sodium hydroxide (commonly known as caustic soda and caustic soda) once a week. Chicken manure and garbage should be removed in time and transported away from the chicken farm. Use fermentation method or compost method for disinfection.

Staff disinfection 　 Before entering the production area, the staff must replace the sterilized work clothes, rubber shoes, etc., and sterilize under the ultraviolet light for about 10 minutes before entering. Conditional chicken farms can require staff to change all clothing and take a bath. Work clothes, etc. must be disinfected with ultraviolet light every day and washed once a week.
　　4. Disinfection during the rearing period. Disinfect the chickens with 10% Baidusha diluted 1:200 or 0.1% Xinjieermei once a week. The cleanliness of the breeding environment should reduce the number of pathogens in the chicken house and the environment as much as possible, so as to prevent the pathogens from invading the chickens and causing susceptible chickens.
