Strengthen ventilation. Good ventilation is an important measure to ensure the environment in the chicken house. Under the premise of ensuring safety in summer, all doors and windows should be opened, exhaust fans, ceiling fans and other ventilation equipment should be activated, and facilities and obstacles that hinder air circulation should be removed to maximize indoor airflow and reduce indoor temperature. If conditions permit, longitudinal ventilation can also be used, that is, ventilation along the longitudinal axis of the chicken house, and the cooling effect can reach 5℃-8℃.

Shearing heat dissipation. Chickens have thicker feathers, no sweat glands on the skin, strong heat preservation performance, but poor heat dissipation performance, timely shearing in summer can increase the heat dissipation rate, which is conducive to laying eggs. Shearing should be done at night as much as possible to avoid excessive struggles and facilitate the operation.

The hair on the wings, chest, abdomen, back and neck of the laying hen can be cut off, and the long hair on the tail and wing tip is not cut, which is conducive to the heat dissipation of the laying hen. When cutting, the action should be light and fast, and be careful to damage the body and skin of the chicken.

Spray water to cool down. You can often spray the body of the chicken with a sprayer to cool down. When the temperature exceeds 32℃, you can use a rotary sprayer to spray cold water on the top or wall of the chicken house, or spray cold water on the chicken body to cool down. Generally, the temperature of the chicken house can be reduced by 5℃-10℃.

Insulate and cool down. The roof of the chicken house is covered with a cheap asbestos tile, which can prevent rain and heat insulation, and the effect is good; the walls around the chicken house are coated with white lime, which can effectively disinfect and reduce the temperature of the chicken house. This is the use of white The higher heat reflection principle is conducive to the dissipation of heat.
