1. Breeding management
Bathe the rabbit. Mix 1 bottle of cresol soap (500ml) with 10 kilograms of water, and add 1 bottle of amitraz. After stirring well, pour it into a large basin, grab the skin of the rabbit's neck with one hand, and the skin of the rabbit's buttocks with the other hand. Soak the rabbit flat in the medicine solution for about 1 minute, then lift it up and wipe its abdomen with your hand to remove some water. Then, place it in another basin filled with water and shake it a few times before removing it. Dry it with gauze and place it in the cage.
Scatter large rabbit herds. If the juvenile rabbit is raised on the ground, it should be kept in a cage as much as possible, and it is best to have one rabbit per cage.
Be sure to sweep feces out of the shelter every day, as the hot weather can cause feces to accumulate and heat up. Additionally, flush the feces board every day.
Breakfast should be early, dinner should be late, and green feed should be given as much as possible at noon; Granular feed requires comprehensive nutrition, and the proportion of soybean meal should not be less than 20%; Ensure the supply of cool drinking water.
The food basin needs to be disinfected. Before feeding new food, there should be no residue in the basin, and it should be removed thoroughly before adding new food; Wash and disinfect the food bowl regularly, or expose it to sunlight.

2. Grasp reproduction
Autumn is the second golden season for rabbit breeding, and it is necessary to adjust the fat status of the breeding rabbits as soon as possible, and to carry out surprise breeding to improve the conception rate. There are two obstacles to reproduction during this period. One is that male rabbits suffer from low testicular function due to the impact of summer high temperatures. Some male rabbits have all the sperm in their testicles dead, while others temporarily lose the ability to produce sperm. Therefore, for male rabbits with low libido, poor mating ability, and malnutrition, physical condition adjustment should be carried out, mainly through nutritional regulation, combined with exercise and drug regulation.
Prevent indiscriminate use of all male rabbits, resulting in widespread emptiness. In order to improve conception rate and litter size, breeding rabbit production can adopt double mating (one estrous female rabbit can mate with the same male rabbit twice or more in one estrus period, with a general interval of about 4 hours), while commercial rabbit production can adopt double mating (one female rabbit is not required to mate with two male rabbits once in the first estrus period, with a general interval of 0.5-4.0 hours).
The second obstacle is that during this period, reproduction and hair changing occur simultaneously, and hair changing requires a large amount of nutrients, especially protein nutrients and sulfur-containing amino acids, which should be ensured in supply; Otherwise, it not only affects hair exchange, but also has adverse effects on mating and conception.

3. Selecting and retaining young rabbits for breeding
The rabbits bred in early spring have reached the age of breeding months, and can be selected for the last time based on their ancestors' performance and their own performance. The best individuals can be selected for breeding and arranged for breeding. Note that young rabbits who participate in breeding for the first time should undergo appropriate training, and try to arrange for adult rabbits and young rabbits to be free from breeding.
4. Rex Rabbit Peeling
Due to the seasonal hair changing period of adult rabbits from August to September, it should be avoided to remove the skin of eliminated species during this period. If the skin is not removed in advance, it can be naturally molted and slaughtered for skin removal after the fur has been completely replaced. For young commercial rabbits, they have not yet entered the seasonal hair changing stage. As long as they reach the age of 5-6 months, they can be slaughtered and skinned by observing that their fur is even (the end of age-related hair changing). Extending the feeding period can only reduce economic benefits.

5. Forage and feed reserves
Autumn is the harvest season, and it is necessary to reserve a certain amount of forage, especially ancestral feed (such as green hay, peanut seedlings, sweet potato seedlings, soybean straw, etc.) according to the production needs of the rabbit farm. At the same time, feed should be dried in a timely manner and properly stored to prevent it from getting damp and moldy, which can lead to spoilage.
6. Disease control
Due to the large temperature difference between day and night in autumn and occasional rain, rabbit diseases often occur. At this stage, prevention should focus on rabbit plague, diarrhea, coccidiosis, common cold, infectious rhinitis, and skin fungal diseases. Due to the abundance of mosquitoes in some areas during this period, attention should also be paid to the prevention of erythrozoosis. The entire population should be uniformly vaccinated against rabbit distemper. In order to prevent hair ball disease caused by hair changing and effectively control the spread of skin diseases caused by hair changing, 1-2 times of flame spray lamp disinfection should be arranged.
Diarrhea disease refers to diarrhea that has been ruled out by bacterial infections, mainly consisting of mucous or non digestible food stools, with no concentrated blood in the stools, normal mental state, and some diseased rabbits with dilated cecum. When lifting the rabbits, water sounds can be seen. Generally, as long as animal feed such as fish meal is not fed, the likelihood of developing Clostridium wilt disease is very low; As long as the cleanliness is done well and there are no external factors affecting it, the likelihood of developing Escherichia coli disease during high temperatures is also low.
Rabbit scabies. During periods of high temperature, this disease is more common. Diamidine can only be used as a preventive measure. When treating rabbits that have already developed this disease, each dose of Diamidine can be used up to 2.5 kilograms of water, or even directly without dilution; The scab must be removed, even if bleeding occurs, the scab must be cleaned; In addition to the feet, the inner contour of the ears should also be cleaned and coated with medication.
Subcutaneous injection of ivermectin or avermectin is a good method of treatment from the inside out. Generally, it is 0.2 milliliters per kilogram, once a day, used continuously for 3 days, rested for 2 days, and then used for 2 days to completely cure.
