Chicken Secret: Four Key Points of Broiler Breeding and Management

1. Key points of chicken coop management
Before entering the chicken coop, everyone needs to disinfect and sterilize the coop, remove feces from the coop, clean the roof, floor, walls, and dead corners inside the coop.
Turn on all ventilation equipment 6-12 days before hatching, and naturally ventilate the premises to maintain dryness;
The chicken house was fumigated with formaldehyde and Potassium permanganate for 24 hours 4 days before feeding;
Adjust the temperature to 32-35 ℃ one day before hatching.
2. Seed selection
The same batch must cultivate high-quality chicken seedlings of the same variety, age, and source, in order to facilitate breeding management, disinfection, and epidemic prevention.
Generally, breeds with short breeding cycles, high feed returns, large body size, and good meat production performance should be selected. Currently, commonly used broiler breeds include Roman broilers, Avian broilers, AA broilers, etc.
3. Key points of breeding
Chickens before the age of 7 days should be fed on a dry base feed tray, with frequent and minimal supplementation.
Drinking water must be clean and hygienic, with 3-4 times of daily water supply and sufficient water supply each time.
Chickens before the age of 7 days drink warm water at the same room temperature, and in the future, switch to deep well water or tap water.
