(2) Lining: Those who raise broods on the ground should prepare clean and high-quality litter in advance. It is best to disinfect the litter before it is laid, or spray 1-2 times of disinfectant after laying in the chicken house, and then together Fumigation and disinfection of other placed equipment and utensils.

(3) Vaccines and medicines: prepare all kinds of vaccines needed during brooding according to the immunization procedures and the number of chicks, and keep them in the refrigerator properly. Formulate a reasonable medication plan, prepare commonly used antibiotic drugs, and prevent and treat coccidiosis drugs. In addition, the chicks need to add glucose, multivitamins, electrolytes, etc. in the drinking water when they first drink.

2. After the first batch of chicks of the artificial heating equipment are finished, remove the heat preservation equipment out of the house. The metal products such as cages and fences are thoroughly washed with a high-pressure faucet. The specific method is to use agricultural film to hang from near the ceiling until it is close to the ground. The film is hung on both ends or around the brooding area in the chicken house. Such a thermal insulation shed shaped like a mosquito can make the heat relatively concentrated during brooding, forming a relatively warm local small environmental temperature. But pay attention to proper ventilation in the curtain, leaving a little space at the top and bottom of the curtain for ventilation. The curtain can be removed for meat chicks for about 1 week and egg chicks for about 2 weeks. After the brooding facilities are installed, they are fumigated and disinfected together with litter and utensils. If hot air stove, heating, flue, coal stove and other methods are used for heating, sufficient fuel shall be prepared in advance.

 3. Feeding and drinking equipment Prepare sufficient feeding and drinking equipment according to the number of chicks and the specifications of drinking and feeding equipment. After disassembling the trough and sink of metal products, rinse them with water without leaving any stains, and then use 0.1% Xin Jie Er brush to dry or burn with a flame spray gun. The feeding and drinking equipment of the chicks should be evenly distributed in the brooding room and brooder cages, and the drinking fountains and feeders should be placed at intervals. A few days after flat brooding, the location of drinking water and feeding should be slightly closer to the heat source, which is convenient for the chicks to heat up and eat and drink nearby.
