How to build a chicken shed

Large-scale chicken sheds should be built in leeward, sunny, well-drained, convenient transportation, close to water sources, high and dry places. In order to make full use of solar energy, the direction should be along the east-west direction.

Pay attention to the size of the construction area. The construction area of each large shed should not be too large. It is recommended that each shed should not exceed 4000 (personal suggestion). Excessive capacity can easily lead to unexpected events. If it is 4,000 chickens, the recommended construction area is 250 square meters.、

Pay attention to the choice of scaffolding. Greenhouses are generally made of steel structure or bamboo poles. They should be sold locally. They are the same as the structure of vegetable greenhouses. The height must be required. At least people can enter and exit normally. If you can lay plastic mats on the scaffolds to increase flexibility, the effect will be better. The scaffold is set up 30-40 cm above the ground, and the laying is required to be flat and firm during installation.

Pay attention to the greenhouse covering materials. Such as plastic film (this one is used more), straw curtain (for heat preservation), laminating line (for reinforcing plastic film and straw curtain), load-bearing wood or pillars in the greenhouse, wood or bamboo (for perches)

Pay attention to the ground treatment of the greenhouse. It is best to lay bricks on the ground or use nets. In any case, you must ensure that the ground is dry. If there are no such conditions, you must work harder in management to ensure that the chicken house is as dry as possible.
